Moranbah State High School is led by our Principal, two Deputy Principals, eight Heads of Department. We also have Year Level Coordinators and a Student Support Team comprised of a Guidance Officer, School Based Youth Nurse, Youth Support Coordinator and a Careers Transition Officer.
Heads of Department
Heads of Department (HOD) are responsible for the management of their department in helping achieve the aims of the school. The HOD leads a team of teachers in the delivery of the curriculum.
Student Services
Our Student Services HoD's assist staff and students with student case management and communication, investigation and evidence gathering and emotional and mental support for students.
Head of Years
HOYS address the welfare needs of students in a specific year level while encouraging their participation in all aspects of school life. Areas of concern for Year Level Coordinators are uniform, attendance records, year level specific programs and student wellbeing.
